Harald Kimmig (1956) is a German improvising violinist and performance artist. In his work he explores sounds and musical and other artistic forms by means of improvisation and their connections with other art forms. In addition to his constant collaboration with the Kimmig-Zimmerlin-Studer string trio, he gives concerts in various formations. He teaches improvisation at the Musikhochschule Trossingen, the TIP – Schule fÃ¼r Tanz, Improvisation und Performance – in Freiburg, and he is a regular guest educator at Swiss music academies. / haraldkimmig.de
